Lakes
Grayson County, bordered by both Rough River and Nolin Lakes, is often referred to as “The Twin Lakes” area.Enjoy boating, fishing, swimming, and much more at either lake. Try your hand at a fishing tournament or relax to watch the fireworks on the 4th of July. Rough River and Nolin have a little something for everyone.

Historic
The Jack Thomas HouseThe first brick house in both Leitchfield & Grayson County, the house is named for it’s original owner, Jack Thomas. Mr. Thomas was the county’s first circuit court clerk. The house is available for tours and is also home of the local Historical Society.
The Green Mansion
Willis Green, an advisor for Henry Clay’s presidential campaign, built the mansion that would later be expanded on by his children. The Green Farm was a hub of activity in the 1800’s and early 1900’s. A mill, church, and general store are just a few of the buildings still standing from that era.
Grayson Springs Resort
During the 1800’s and early 1900’s, people flocked from miles around to enjoy the famous, and medicinal, hot springs of Grayson County. The resort is no longer open to the public. Learn more

The Kentucky Trail of Quilts, also known as the Clothesline of Quilts, winds through the state, encouraging scenic driving. Quilts are placed on barns, houses, places of business, etc…Be sure to pick up your route map at the front desk to enjoy this drive!
Clarkson’s Sew Much More Sewing Center, is home to sewing retreats, classes, and a nice selection of material.
Just down the road, Paducah harbors the Quilt Museum.
